Z-Hope

Z-Hope, which stands for Zetas Helping Other People Excel, is a signature program of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., that is a comprehensive multi-dimensional outreach program designed to enhance, cultivate and empower participants to develop and promote healthy lifestyle choices across the life span through mind body and spirit. Zeta Zeta Zeta chapter embraces Z-Hope in the areas of Women, Youth and Men.  Listed below are some of our completed and planned projects:

Veterans Home Visit Yearly: Visit Fitzsimons Veterans Homes and present socks to residents
Cleave Community Feedings 2014-Present: Prepare plates and serve people in the community in need for Thanksgiving and Christmas
Homeless Coalition 2014-2016: Donations for Monthly Birthday parties for who children may not be able to celebrate at home.
USO Veterans 2013-2018: Donations of Toiletries to the USO Denver International Airport.
Storks Nest 2002-2003, 2009-2010: Virtual Baby Showers for young pregnant mothers. Includes education seminars on health and wellness and taking care of their little ones.
American Cancer Society 2011: Workshop on awareness and donations of African American Wigs
Angel Harvest Project July 2004: Donation of toiletries to a shelter in Los Angeles
Scarves Over 180 scarves WERE donated to the American Cancer Society.
Pre-maturity Campaign November 2004-Present: Education at local area churches in November regarding pre maturity awareness
Planning Legacy March 2005: Seminar on ORGANIZING and putting your financial affair in order
My Word is My Bond February 19, 2005: Keynote during bi-annual black college fair sponsored by Zeta Zeta Zeta Chapter
Making Wishes Known March 2005: SEMINARS on the benefits of a living will and knowledge of the durable power of attorney
Walk America April 30, 2005: Walkathon to support the March of Dimes, national partner to Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
Prostate Cancer March 2005: SEMINARS on preventing and treating prostate cancer
VA Hospital November 2005: Songs, socks and bananas for patients of the VA Nursing Care Facility .
